Iosevka Aile

An i and an l take less room in Aile than in the rest of Iosevka, and a w and an m take more. That small change is what makes it quasi-proportional. The monospaced members put every glyph in a cell exactly half an em wide, which is why Iosevka fits so many columns on a screen; Aile loosens the rule for the letters that suffer most from it, so a paragraph of prose stops showing the gaps.

Belleve Invis, the name Renzhi Li works under, builds Iosevka from code, and the official package has 2 quasi-proportional subfamilies next to the 6 monospaced ones: Aile, the sans, and Etoile, its slab-serif counterpart. Both come in only 1 width. Their stated purpose is documents and writing.

So the obvious home for Aile is next to Iosevka code. A README, a notes app or a wiki where the prose is in Aile and the code blocks in Iosevka will look like 1 family, because it is.

18 styles, Thin to Black with italics. The character set is the same large one as the main family, 7,758 characters with Greek, Cyrillic and Armenian, and the 19 stylistic sets come along too.
