Vernon Adams made Coda Caption to say something short and loud on a web page, bold information at large sizes, and gave it 1 style to do it with, Extra Bold at weight 800. It belongs with his Coda family.
Google Fonts listed it in February 2011 and dropped it in March 2023, while the main Coda family stayed. The letters are wide, with a lowercase that comes close to the capitals in height, so a 2 word caption over a photo fills its space quickly.
Banners and captions on images, then. Nothing longer than a line.
