Knitters are the audience here. Sarah Cadigan-Fried made the Soft Type Collection so they could chart lettering for their projects, and Jersey is its sporty sans, built to be knitted at several sizes. The 20 in the name is the height of the capitals; other numbers in the collection give other scales, so the type can fit a hat or a blanket.
This is the Regular. A Charted twin, Jersey 20 Charted, lays the same letters out for knitting from. Away from yarn it makes a decent sporty team graphic.
