Grandma's jam, strawberry batch
Joti is what his friends call Jonah, Eduardo Tunni’s young son, and the boy gave this font its name and its mood. Tunni wanted the informality of the cartoons children watch, and the main idea is a top-heavy stem with a slight sense of movement.
A March 2023 update brought more glyphs, fractions and a few small refinements, so the 1 Regular now holds 425 characters with ligatures and case sensitive forms. It sets broad, with a big lowercase.
Tunni’s own advice is headlines and short texts above 14 points. We’d add jam labels to that.
