A word set in Libertinus Keyboard takes up a little more than twice the room it would in Arial, and that is the first hint about the job. The name gives the rest away: this is the Libertinus face for writing out keys, which a software manual or a shortcut cheat sheet needs plenty of.

Libertinus itself is a fork of Linux Libertine and Linux Biolinum, and the credit here goes to Philipp H. Poll and Khaled Hosny. The fork tidied the typographic details and worked on compatibility with modern typesetting systems, with academic and technical documents in mind, and it has grown a number of branches since, the Serif the most prominent of them.

This member is small, 350 characters in a single Regular. Pair it with Libertinus Serif or Sans in the running text so the key names sit in the same family as the instructions around them.
