Wind over the bamboo grove

Grass scripts tend to be expansive and expressive, and Liu Zhengjiang’s, the basis for this font, is both, with a softer, more approachable flow than most. ZhongQi turned it into Liu Jian Mao Cao, and the description compares that flow to water, full and gentle.

Kimberly Geswein drew the Latin letters that come with it. There is 1 Regular, with 7,015 characters for Simplified Chinese.

Readers who are not used to grass script will struggle with long text in it. Keep it for titles, or a single poem set large.
