The family tree runs like this: the New York Times masthead gave its look to a font called Chomsky, and Fredrick Brennan forked Chomsky into this one, and then gave it a title borrowed from Noam Chomsky. The joke is on purpose: a Fraktur style blackletter that wears the gravity of a front page, under a name that needles the very press it imitates.
The letters are narrow and pinched, and a line of it takes up a good deal less width than plain sans text would. There is 1 Regular, with contextual alternates, a few stylistic alternates and ligatures.
Set a fake newspaper name, a zine cover or a protest flyer with it. Blackletter in long passages is hard going for most readers now, so keep it to a few words.
