Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Naver published the Nanum fonts as a set made especially for Korean, and Nanum Myeongjo is a serif from that group. Sandoll Communications and Fontrix did the design work.
A full Korean font is a big undertaking, close to 12,000 glyphs here, covering Hangul syllables along with Latin. The shapes are contemporary with some warmth to them, and screen hinting got close attention.
3 weights, from Regular up to Extra Bold. For a long article or an ebook in Korean, Regular, with Bold for the headings.
