A Note On The Page
Neonderthaw · Regular
A short letter, set in the family.
Thursday afternoon
Dear Alex,
I left the book by the window. There is a note on page twenty-three that I thought you would like. Bring it along on Thursday; we can finish the conversation over coffee.
See you there.

Set plainly, Neonderthaw is a thin script with tall capitals, about twice the height of its small letters. Robert Leuschke drew it to stand in for neon tubing. Open it in an app that can blur, put a blurred copy with some glow under the sharp line, and the word turns into signage.
The copyright runs from 2014 to 2021, and Google Fonts added it on November 18, 2021, so the design sat in his TypeSETit catalog for years before that. The repository’s sample image writes the name as NeonDerThaw.
Keep it big and on a dark ground, a bar menu or a gig poster. At text size the thin line goes to nothing. Vietnamese and Central European accents are in.
