Few examples of Elymaic survive. The script was used from about 250 BCE to 500 CE in Elymais, an ancient state southeast of the Tigris in what is now Iran, and it descends from Aramaic, written right to left.
Morgane Pierson drew the Noto version. For a script with only 25 characters in Unicode it carries a surprising amount, stylistic alternates and 4 stylistic sets, which lets a scholar pick between letter variants. 1 Regular, with a Latin set for the notes.
