Newa, also called Pracalit, is used in Nepal mainly to write Newari, or Nepal Bhasa, and it serves Sanskrit and Pali as well. It is an Indic abugida written left to right, and it will only display properly in software that does complex text shaping.

Monotype’s design team drew this Noto version as a plain, unmodulated sans in 1 Regular weight, with a Latin included for mixed text.
