Old letters from the valley archive
From the 16th to the 19th century, Chambeali and Dogri were written in Takri, and so were Pahari languages such as Jaunsari and Kulvi, in parts of what are now India and Pakistan. It is an Indic abugida running left to right, mostly without a headstroke, and a relative of the Dogri script.
Google’s Noto collection gives it 1 Regular sans serif, with Latin alongside, for anyone transcribing old documents or labeling them in an exhibition.
