The stroke ends in Paytone One are sliced at an angle, and with the round bowls that gives the sans a casual, friendly lean. Vernon Adams designed it in 2011 as a display and headline face for websites.
It got a proper overhaul in February 2023. Version 1.002 revised the outlines, improved spacing and kerning, extended the character set and added the Vietnamese diacritics. Marc Foley is listed next to Adams among the project’s contributors.
1 style only. The figures come in tabular and proportional versions, and there are fractions, so a price on a sale banner can be set properly. It runs wide and is meant to be big, on a headline or a button label.
