No sharp corners on the outside of a letter. That is the first rule in the design principles of Pitagon Sans, and the second is that the capitals should match the styling of the lowercase. Travis Tran drew it as part of the Pitagon font set behind the Pi Design System, taking his cue from Quicksand and from Maven Pro, whose curvature and rhythm the project names directly.
The intended job is big text, titles and headings.
6 weights, Regular to Black, upright only, with Vietnamese in the character set. The first public release came in March 2023, and version 1.1.1 that August brought the Pi Design System into the font along with some icon characters. For body copy we would pair it with a plainer text face and keep Pitagon in the Semi Bold and up, where the rounded ends show.
