Ponnala is Telugu and nothing else; there are no Latin letters in it, only Telugu with digits and basic punctuation. Designed in 2013 by the Hyderabad type designer Appaji Ambarisha Darbha, who also leads the project, it was released through Silicon Andhra.

It is filed as a display face, 1 Regular. Use it for headings and posters in Telugu, and pair it with a Latin font of your choice when you need English alongside.
