Yantramanav was drawn to go with Roboto. Erin McLaughlin, an independent designer and font developer who specializes in Indic type, matched the style and weights of its Devanagari to Christian Robertson’s Latin family, and the copyright is shared between her and Google.
6 weights follow along: Thin, Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Black. A site already set in Roboto can add Devanagari text without a jump in tone, which is the whole idea.
