Hyperdrive engaged, Captain
Science fiction films from several different decades fed into Zen Dots, and Yoshimichi Ohira aimed it squarely at the future. It is 1 of only 3 Latin fonts in his Zen Fonts collection, which is otherwise Japanese.
The letters are very wide, so a word takes a lot of horizontal space and a headline of more than a few words will need to shrink. A stylistic set and some alternates let you swap a few shapes.
Our take: put it on a game title screen or a launch poster, at a large size with loose tracking, and keep it away from anything that has to be read quickly. It has been on Google Fonts since March 2021, in 1 Regular.
