Almarai looks geometric at first, and on a second look the Arabic follows calligraphic structure and rules closely, with a trace of handwriting left in the letters. Mourad Boutros and Boutros Fonts made it in 2019 to read well on screen and in print.
The contrast is low and the apertures are wide in every weight, both chosen with screen reading in mind. Those 4 weights are Light, Regular, Bold and ExtraBold, with a sans serif Latin designed to sit with the Arabic.
Where would we use it? In an Arabic app or website with English alongside, menus and buttons and short paragraphs. Its plainness is what we would pick it for.
