Art Nouveau gave Amarante its unconventional shapes, set on a condensed frame with medium contrast. Karolina Lach drew it as a display face, though Sorkin Type, which published it, says it copes with text and headlines better than you would expect. 1 Regular, with extended Latin for a broad range of languages. A theater poster, a wine list, the chapter heads of a fantasy novel.
