Henadij Zarechnjuk drew Baumans for Cyreal with Bauhaus typefaces and preconstructivist forms in mind, and he took his rule from Moholy-Nagy: type has to be clear, legible and get its message across.
So the strokes are monolinear and the proportions sensible, and only a few letters are let off the leash. M, V and W end in sharp corners, the Z is curved, and the N looks borrowed from a unicase alphabet.
1 Regular, 215 characters, Western European Latin. Cyreal tuned it for screens at medium to large sizes, where a game title or a tech logotype would suit it.
