Mint Tantisuwanna started Anuphan as a self-teaching exercise at Cadson Demak: what would a loopless Thai look like if it were drawn to belong with IBM Plex Sans? The important detail is where the shapes came from. Every Thai outline was built from the Latin of IBM Plex Sans, and none of it was edited from IBM Plex Sans Thai, which already exists as a separate design.

So Anuphan is a second Thai partner for Plex, a loopless one this time, worked outward from the Latin letters as a study in how 2 scripts can be made to sit together.

7 weights, Thin to Bold, with Latin and Vietnamese, fractions, superscripts and 2 stylistic sets. Cadson Demak has published an account of the process on its site.
