A Hebrew sans written to sit next to Source Sans Pro.
That is how Ben Nathan, a type designer in Tel Aviv, approached it. Paul Hunt had already drawn the Latin at Adobe as Source Sans Pro, and Nathan drew a contemporary Hebrew to go with it, so a page that switches between the 2 scripts mid-sentence, a menu with English product names, a contract with Latin abbreviations in it, does not look like 2 fonts glued together. The Latin in Assistant is Hunt’s design, carried over.
7 weights come in the download, Extra Light at 200 through Extra Bold at 800, with no italics. Emphasis has to come from weight, then, in both scripts.
Nathan leads the project himself and it has been on Google Fonts since 2016. We would use it for interfaces and bilingual sites before anything decorative, and keep the 2 lightest weights out of small body copy; Regular or Medium for the reading, the heavier end for headings.
