The Hudson Room, by invitation
The source for Cantata One was a handmade map of New York City, old, with its names lettered by hand with a pointed pen. Joana Correia turned that writing into a Didone: high contrast between thick and thin, and extended, so the letters sit wide.
Correia drew it to work in text at medium to large sizes and to look luxurious when set big. We agree with the second part more than the first. Give it a hotel name or an invitation, at a size where the hairlines hold up, and keep long passages in something sturdier. 1 Regular style, extended Latin, no OpenType extras.
