Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Coustard comes in 2 weights, Regular and Black, with nothing in between, and that jump is the most useful thing about it. Black for the headline, Regular for the text under it, and the contrast is done for you.
Vernon Adams developed it from a fork of Tienne, another font in Google’s collection, as a serif for both display and text on the web. The character set reaches past basic Latin into the Central European accents.
