Notes from the second rehearsal
Dario Muhafara drew Galdeano a shade darker than it strictly needed to be, and kept the curves down to the ones the letters can’t do without, both choices aimed at clean rendering on screen. It is a humanist sans, slightly condensed, with a clear swing between thick and thin parts of the stroke, diagonal stress and open shapes.
He meant it for short texts and headlines first, and comfortable enough for reading on screen after that. Our view: the stroke variation gives it more character in a heading than most sans faces have, and in a paragraph it is fine but you will notice the quirks. 1 Regular style, Latin only.
