Taigi and Hakka phonetic symbols are in Huninn, and that alone tells you who it was made for. justfont built this rounded Traditional Chinese face for use in Taiwan, with the characters people there use every day, Zhuyin (Bopomofo), and the extra symbols and characters that local languages call for.
It has 2 parents, the round fonts Kosugi Maru and Varela Round, and justfont drew more than 2,000 new characters on top, refined the typographic settings and improved the grayscale, the evenness of tone, from the original sources. The designers wrote up the whole process on the justfont blog.
The single Regular holds 11,364 characters. Beyond Chinese it reaches into Japanese kana, Greek, Cyrillic, Vietnamese and some Hebrew, and the Latin has tabular figures and fractions.
Soft round ends make it friendly on a shop sign or a school handout. It arrived on Google Fonts in 2025.
