Kranky’s lowercase is short, the small letters reaching about 56% of the height of the capitals, so in a capitalized word the first letter towers over the rest. Sideshow, the Font Diner label, describes it as handmade and full of fun, and it went up on Google Fonts in January 2011.
Basic Latin with the Western accents, 227 characters, a single Regular and no OpenType extras. Fine for a bake sale sign or a kids’ party invite. We would not ask it to set anything longer than a title.
