Htae Bu Phae created the Kayah Li alphabet in 1962. It is written left to right and used in Myanmar and Thailand for the Kayah languages, by around 150,000 people, a small community, and scripts like it are why the Noto project exists.
Sérgio Martins and the Monotype design team drew this version as an unmodulated sans, and it comes in 4 weights, Regular to Bold, with a Latin alongside. That is enough to set a printed notice or a primer with real headings.
