Ledger of the Multan cloth trade
Multani was a merchants’ script. From the 18th to the 20th century, traders in what is now India and Pakistan wrote the Saraiki language in this Indic abjad.
Google’s Noto has it as a plain sans by the Monotype Design Team, with all 52 characters of the Unicode block and a Latin set, in 1 Regular style. Its readers today are most likely researchers and archivists working with old documents.
