A commentary on the old treatise

From the 8th to the 19th century, Sanskrit texts on philosophy and science were written in South India in Nandinagari. It is close kin to Devanagari, an abugida that runs left to right, with a visible difference: the headstrokes stay unconnected, so each letter keeps its own bar on top.

Ek Type drew this Noto version and filled it with OpenType work, 4 stylistic sets among it. The Latin comes along for notes and transliteration.

1 Regular style. We see it in a digitized manuscript collection, or in a paper on Indian philosophy that quotes Nandinagari passages in the original.
