Sundanese has some 27 million speakers on the island of Java, and since 1996 they have had a standard form of their own script, Aksara Sunda Baku, drawn from the Old Sundanese script used between the 14th and 18th centuries. The language is also written in Latin letters, and this font carries both.
The Monotype Design Team drew the Regular, and Sérgio L. Martins added the Medium, Semi Bold and Bold. 82 characters from the Sundanese and Sundanese Supplement blocks, in a plain sans with no stroke contrast.
