Catalog of manuscript fragments

The Mongolian and Manchu scripts both descend from the one in this font. Old Uyghur is an abjad, writing mostly consonants, and it was in use around Turfan and Gansu from about the 700s into the 1800s for the Old Uyghur language, a form of Old Turkic.

Lewis McGuffie drew the version for Google’s Noto collection, which Google added in September 2023. A Latin serif comes along for glosses and catalog entries. There is 1 Regular weight, which is all a manuscript catalog or a museum label is likely to ask for.
