The older Sigmar One had small caps where the lowercase should be. For the Summer of Type in 2023 the family was revised, the small caps gave way to basic lowercase letters, and the result was published as plain Sigmar.
Vernon Adams built the design on the display lettering of mid-20th century pulp magazine advertising, the shouty, casual kind. Its lowercase is huge, close to the height of the capitals, so mixed-case words keep the punch of an all-caps line. Small caps are still there as an OpenType feature if you want the old flavor back.
