Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

27 pixels is the size Slabo 27px was fine-tuned for, and that is where it looks its best.
John Hudson drew it at Tiro Typeworks in Canada as part of Slabo, a set of size specific fonts for online advertising and other web work. Its partner, Slabo 13px, does the same job for small text. Pair them, 27 for the headline and 13 for the small print, and we would keep to those sizes, since that is what the tuning was for.
