Notes From The Reading Room
The reading room opens onto a quiet courtyard. Along the shelves, small handwritten labels mark the collections. A visitor leaves a book open beside the window, keeping a place for the next reader.
A heading marks the next chapter. The margins leave room for a note while the text continues across the page.

Ball terminals, and slabs with the corners rounded off. Solway is the slab serif Mariya Lish drew for The Northern Block with the warmth of a small community and the idyll of country living in mind. The strokes are close to monoline, with very little contrast, and that keeps a page of it steady and calm.
5 weights: Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Extra Bold. There is a gap where a Semi Bold would usually sit. The character set is basic Latin, 224 characters.
Lish had lifestyle brands and blogs about nature, travel and food in view, and a recipe blog or a cottage rental site would suit it fine.
