Of the gothic YakuHan fonts, this one changes the fewest characters. YakuHanJPs makes Japanese brackets half-width, 「」『』【】（）［］ and the angle brackets 〈〉《》 among them, and that is all.

The ideographic comma and full stop, the question and exclamation marks, the middle dot and the colons stay at full width, drawn by whichever Japanese font comes after YakuHanJPs in font-family.

Keeping those wide has its logic. A full-width 。 holds the even beat of Japanese text, in our view, and it is mostly the brackets that look baggy in a heading or a book title. If you want the stops narrowed as well, the plain YakuHanJP does both.

With the npm package it loads from yakuhanjp/dist/css/yakuhanjp_s.css. Qrac based the glyphs on Noto Sans JP, in 9 weights from Thin to Black.
